M. Rox Studio is the brain child of Emily Halberg. Her professional career started over 10 years ago when she began designing and creating jewelry for a friend's store. After two years of laboring for someone else, she decided to further her education and pursue a degree in her chosen field. She attended MCTC in Minneapolis and received her degree in Jewelry Manufacturing and Repair, as well as a certificate in Gemology. Since graduation, she has been working steadily in the great city of Chicago and has kept busy with a myriad of projects and designs for clients of all sorts.
She has made engagement rings, wedding bands, necklaces, earrings and more! She also has a knack for helping people reclaim their old, unworn jewelry by redesigning it to suit their tastes and needs. It is a wonderful way to make family heirlooms and estate sale finds wearable and personalized to the individual. She has a special fondness for creating something from scratch and loves every step of taking a thought and turning it into a stunning piece of jewelry that can be worn and enjoyed.
